Nokia 6101 / 6102
missed call / voicemail / text on mini display
Hi there,
I just got my 6102. I'm disappointed that the mini display doesn't tell me whether or not I missed a call or received a message or anything. Instead it just has the time displayed as a screensaver. Is there any way to get remove that clock or otherwise get the mini display to let me know whether I have a message or a missed call?

Mine does but I would have to hit the volume button or tap the camera button to see. For some reason you can't fully turn of the Screen saver.

I have the 6101, and my mini-display shows the missed calls. I'm not sure if you have the screen saver set to the time displaying back and forth (I think that's when it's in the "off" mode--I have to make sure if that's right), then if you have it in that mode, if you missed a call, it would be a little black symbol under the time (like on the lower left corner), and if you have a voicemail and or text message, it will display that as well (the tape and the envelope). Even if you have no screensaver, the screen will say "Missed call" or "New voicemail message" or "new text message" (directly on the mini-screen). If it's not doing that, it may be something wrong 😲(
