It certainly is competition to the A800.
The Bluetooth functionality and battery life, and excellent Sony Ericsson usability and design style are all pros over the A800.
The optics of the A800's camera may be better than the K750, however.

Personally, I would buy the k750 long before I would buy the a800...simply because of Bluetooth... 😁
