anyone got an update on the US release for Cingular?
jorma said a few weeks on aug 15th... just wondered if anyone had heard anything new yet! my local cingular rep is totally clueless... *sigh* what else is new with those cingular store clerks?

No matter what everybody says I still don't think it's coming to the US. Its been available in Europe for a few months. Why not here?

well they have an 850 GSM version (listed on the front page), which is for the US. The 900 version is for Europe/Asia. So there's a very good chance we're getting this awesome phone!
