Great, but where is a GSM model?

This phone would be the answer to my PDA phone prayers. Except that it is a CDMA phone. Will Samsung wake up and offer a GSM version of this phone? I want something exactly like this to use with T-Mobile. Can anyone suggest something before I go crazy?

Cingular has the HP iPAQ hw6510/hw6515 which is a fantastic GSM Pocket PC phone.
Perhaps T-Mobile will get this as well.

they might, but it's an exclusive for 4 months.. after that, who knows

Um...if you had read the information more carefully you would find that Samsung DID wake up and offered a GSM version. This particular phone has BOTH CDMA AND GSM. They put in GSM in place of the Wi-Fi (SCH-i730).

Pretty sure you cant activate on t-mobile etc...you can only active on the global plan with vzw

It does not have a SIMM card slot, if that helps.

This is the global phone version of the Samsung i730 with both CDMA and GSM. Just has to be set up on a global phone plan.

This device is designed to function on CDMA while in the US, and GSM abroad. The phone does not have the ability to use GSM domestically as some of you are assuming. I have not heard of any plans on releasing a GSM version of this device, but there are several Windows Mobile smartphones available to GSM users. Cingular and T-Mobile are both releasing versions of the HTC Wizard and Tornado. Cingular also has the HP iPaq 6515.
