If this phone can handle FULL WEB PAGES then its a dream come true...I was thinking of getting an i730 for the internet but if this thing can handle it than its a wrap! With the EVDO service vzw would be STUPID not to have it with full HTML...Damn too bad im only a part time rsr..I cant access infomanager until friday 😢

I kinda figured that...The sidekick supports full HTML, VZW would be stupid not to include a full html browser, or even a software upgrade...Whats the point of the evdo? I work for verizon and even though I get Vcast free, i still think its gimmicky.

At this time Verizon is just releasing a phone to compete with the first sidekick. Also to attract some customers that likes the sidekick feature but hates the t-mobile and cingular service. But don’t want to pay 400-500 for a PDA/smart phone. Be patient, more advance and cool phones will be coming after our so called 10 billion tests and quality assurance. Like you know already since we all work for the same company, our goal is to come out last with advance quality services. (Even though I don’t agree with the advance quality service part sometimes...)

by the way I pay 25.00 for 1000 minutes, free in, free n/w starts at 8pm and first incoming free. But if I upgrade to this 9800 from our employee website they will make me change to...

gimmicky? Anything other than phone service on cell phones is gimmicky. Not that I don't like all that stuff, but I am just saying.

With mobile web 2.0 (which all current phones run), you can load just about any normal website. If you goto search at the top right, you can goto a URL. I've loaded a number of different websites this way...

Now...keep in mind...there are buffer problems so if a site is too large...then you won't be able to see it.

But...it does give you SOME flexiblity with browsing the web.

Enjoy.
