Podcast are mp3 so yes it will. But you cant use itunes to upload it you have to find the file and then upload to the phone via the way they want. So good luck with your newphone.

In general this is true. However, some podcasts may be published in AAC format (the secured format used on the itunes store). For example, the iTunes New Music Tuesday podcast (which I recommend) is published in AAC, therefore the phone cannot play it. Most podcasts, however, are MP3 which the phone can handle.
