Few questions

I have the 8100 and am very happy with it, but always am looking at the latest and greatest. I am a littles curious about this phone. Some questions I have are:

Not to sound stupid, but what is wireless sync? From what I read, I wouldn't even need it if I use Yahoo for e-mail. Is that correct also?

I don't have VCAST in my area, but if I purchase the $15/mo. package, can I use e-mail 24/7 without incurring airtime charges? Does this also include text, or would I need to also purchase a text package?

What would be the additional things this phone would offer me that the 8100 doesn't?

Thanks for your time. Just wanted to try to gather as much info as possible to help me decide if I even want to venture into this.

Sincerely...

wireless sync is just that, it is sync's your email account to your phone, you don't have to open up mobile web and go log in and all that crap to check to see if you have email. You just leave your computer on at home or office and your accounts will sync and any emails you receive will apear on your phone real time(well maybe a little delay) Vcast does not include text or pix messaging. If you have vcast no airtime will be used when sending pix. My understanding is that vcast pack will allow you to have unlimited mobile web(including your yahoo email) no matter if you are in vcast market or a 1x market. Wireless sync would be a whole diferent feature. Hope some of that helped
