Does Anyone Know...
How the speakerphone holds up against the 710? If it supports mp3 ringtones?
How much $ it will be?
Thanks, I cant wait for this one!

Based on prior LGs, I would guess a very good speakerphone (only a guess).
MP3 ringtones probably a no (this can be worked around by sending the MP3s as another format, either .mid or .qcp works on prior models).
Price should be $299 on 2year after 50 MIR.
Hope that helps!

That workaround was blocked when the 8100 was released, but people have already gotten around that, so who knows?
...
you can do the work around for the 8100 and also the 8000 also. i know my gf found out from a friend who has the 8100 how to send songs to your phone through an email or something.
...
on my 710 the workaround (i think were talking about the same thing) was sending the song from the transflash to a pix message to a phoney number, then saving it onto the phone from your outbox, does that work with this? i dont want this phone if i cant send mp3 ringers... damn... and also the LGs are known for not having good speakerphones.
...
It was always my understanding that speakerphones were one of the best things LG was known for.
As far as the MP3 ringers, the original workaround was disabled on the VX8100 (but people have found new workarounds) so I wouldn't be surprised if this one had it disabled, too, though I don't doubt there will be a workaround soon.
