LG V VX-9800
New firmware , to upgrade or not to upgrade
I have a LG vx 9800, and I'm wanting to upgrade, but first I have a few questions. Like : 1) Can I enable the MP3 player via the "Secret Menu", 2) Can I use BitPim to upload my own MP3 ringtones like I can with my current version. 3) Can the MP3 player be "put in the background" and allow me to play music and browse the web like on the LG Chocolate. 4) Can I change the "Themes" the colors where the battery, signal, menu left & right soft key logos are from red to some other color.

i cant wait for the 9900 either. i hope its nice and much smaller.
black or all white would be nice too. there was a picture somewhere that showed it being a darker grey, like the 8300
if it can receive the pix message ringtones, i wont really care about the color haha

I've heard a little about the new V but not too myuch. Eh for me, the size of the phone doesn't really matter since I just put the phone on my belt clip and use it that way. I also have V05 software on my phone. Works fine for me.

yeh i use a clip too, but i would still prefer a smaller version, not too much smaller, cause that would effect the keyboard usability some more domeness i guess you could say would be nice. like a little closer to the treo buttons. i like the treo buttons
