Tough Phone
Within 2 weeks of getting this phone for my daughter, it went thru the wash in her jeans. I assumed it was toast and so went on ebay and got her a Sanyo 4900. After it dried out, my other daughter said "maybe it just needs to be charged". We charged it up and it works fine. Unbelievable. 😁 😁 😁
Also, the helpful Sprint users manual neglects to tell you how to use the phone's built in voice dial. To use it, press "talk" until the screen comes up telling you to say the name.

i got the sanyo mm-8300 for my sons and i looked at this phone also. what is the little light looking thing under the camera?

It's just an indicator. No flash. It occasionally blinks green to indicate that the battery is sufficiently charged, or red to indicate either a missed call/voicemail or low battery.
