Honestly, for its size, it's not that bad. It fit in my hand well and seemed very sturdy. With all the features, I'd expect the phone to be a decent size. you can't pack 20 gal of water into a plastic cup 😉

I agree that for all the features you can't expect it to be small but you have to admit its a little on the larger side. I had the lg8000, then switched to the 8100. I like the 8000 better and was even used to the size up until I got the 8100. I don't think I could go back to a bigger phone again.

I can understand completely. When I first saw it I thought it was way too bulky. After I played with it a little while, I got used to it. It's definitely not a phone for someone that swears by a 670 😉 If you can handle bulk, though, I'd say this phone is the one for you. I'm used to my 610 (a little bulky by most standards) but I like a little bit of beef to my phones. I'm not so worried I'm going to break it if it feels like it could break something, ya know?

I currently have the LG 8000 and I LOVE the fact that it is a little bigger. I love the screen and the size really doesnt bother me. I am bigger guy, so it's nice to have a phone that feels good in my hands as opposed to some of these tiny phones they have been putting out. bigger phones seem to be the trend, and if you want all of the features in a phone, you will probably have to bump up in size a little bit, but in my opinion that is a completely fair trade.
