Right off the bat Im going to tell you guys this new thread is the only one you need. Trust me. First bought the lg liked the feel it felt real solid didnt like the leather case though for it , one side always seemed to slide off, very minor problem there. biggest problem was reception on this phone dropped many calls in one day say 5 calls where as I didnt drop any before with the old samsung 670. I drive for a living and travel the same route everyday so I really put these phone thru a good reception test.So that blew that phone out of the water, why else do you buy a phone, so it works as a phone not a toy...Went and traded in lg for moto phone felt okay wasnt very solid as lg as in hinge wise. but reception on this phone is great, way b...

So you see Monica - sarcasm aside - this is what I was talking about. Here is more than a 15 minute usage review where Yukon 1993 had something meaningful to say. This by no means clinches that this phone is the best out there as it is just one person's say; however, he used it throughout the day and was quite satisfied at the end of the day - as opposed to certain people who are obviously much smarter (sarcasm intended) who can judge a phone in 15 minutes!

You really have issues...I NEVER said I was an expert...I gave my opinion from what I saw and put the disclaimer that I used it for about 15 minutes...plain and simple...So get a d@mn life. Do us both a favor and just skip right past my post from now on...since I am obviously on a much lower intelligence lever than you are (though I do understand when someone says I only played with it for 15 minutes that this person is just telling me what they saw initially), you would be completely wasting your time reading my posts

The only issue I have is trying to find a phone that works well, re: reception and speaker are my prime concern. I couldn't care less that a phone does or does not take a good photo..............seems to me that is why digital cameras are the main-stream photo takers of the 2000s! I still repeat - not necessarily aimed at you - that there are too many people giving their two cents about a phone after holding it for 15 minutes. A true test of a phone is giving it a complete workout for at least a few days in all areas of where you will be using the phone (especially one's home). I still believe it is ridiculous for someone to assess anything in 15 minutes - and my second message in this (long/laborous) thread was that I was merely pointing out that this other person made a fair review of the phone as he had it for at least a few days.

I was never trying to insult you (I am being serious now) - we're all looking for the same thing: useful information about various phones (since most of them are not even worth the materials they are made with). It gets frustrating (especially with Verizon phones): every time a new phone is released by Verizon -something negative is pointed in its direction. I am not even with Verizon at this point (although I know I will become a paying member soon - as soon as they can come out with a decent phone) - first it was the 8100 and 815 - they went sour pretty fast - now it's the 970. Anyway, I never intended for this to become a sarcastic match of wits between us - just find a good phone for us and then...

*Side Note:* reception is definitely a area thing because I get great reception with my 8100 and have never had a dropped call due to reception. I work at an assisted living home and even though my bars go down (sometimes no bars, and only goes up to 2 while in building) I still get great reception. My parents also live in the middle of no where and rarely get dropped calls.
