Can anything be done about the delay when snapping a photo? I have tried every setting. When I push the button, the camera does not snap the picture for 4 seconds and I never get an accurate picture unless the subject is completely still.

Try a lower resolution.

Turn off the auto focus.

I have the same issue when i try to snap a pic its so slow as if the person moves even a slight bit the pic is blurred even my hand isnt steady enough to not blure the pic? any ideas? what auto focus setting is this last person talking about?

I've noticed that the image only becomes blurry when you move the PHONE itself and not the acutal subject you're photographing... weird but true. So just keep the phone still and whatever you snap should be pretty clear albeit a bit delayed.
