Ringer ID?

OK, I am trying to set a special ring for a friend. I thought this would be easy. I hit edit contact and then chose the ring I wanted under ringtone, but it still comes up as the default ring. What's going on?

Are you sure it is an actual ringtone, not just a media player file?

don't do it through edit contact. You have to go to Get It Now. Click new tones. Scroll down to ringtone you want to be set for friend, click right soft key, set ringer id.
