Playing phone-recorded Video on my Computer??

I know that all of the videos recorded on the phone are in the 3G2 format... and I've gone so far as to purchase the "ImTOO 3GP" video converter so I can convert the phone files into windows media player Mpeg formats and watch them on my computer. But when I try to convert the files it fails everytime and I have no idea why. Can someone please give me a step-by-step way to convert the phone video formats into PC friendly formats?

you do not need to convert the video file to mpeg to play on a pc. All you need is quicktime media player.

I'm not sure about editing 3g2 files however.
