Impressive - Except For The Battery
This phone's specs are impressive.
However, a 3 hour talk time seems to be a step in the wrong direction.
It would serve Nokia well to take leads from Seimens' and Sony Ercisson's battery technology.

disagree. 3 hrs is reasonable but not great, i'll give u that. But with screens like that, and all the other gizmo's batt. life will never be stellar - just look at SE's S710.

Sony Ericsson's 710a advertises 7 hours talk time, but tests at about 5. This is superior to 3 hours.

The S710a talk time has not been 3 hrs. for me. Try about 2.5 hrs. What did I hear about Siemens battery technology? Every Siemens phone for the U.S. I've used has had by far the worst battery life of any phone...SL56 45 min of talk time.

I read in a review I think it was mobile reivew who did it. That the phone only last for a day on charge due to the power draw of the screen another negative to that it uses a bl4c battery not 5c like the other s60 phones and 6c like the qd based on the fact it weighed so much already they cut corners and tried to trim weight with a lower capacitor battery not cool or smart if true. Reason is also quaoted from the site or another source I foget but none the less not me own figure you would carry more than one battery. I don't find that very likely for many.

why is this such a big deal anyways? i have a charger at home, one in the office, one in my car. 3 hour talk time is plenty.

what do you expect from a high end 3g phaone. i have owned a few nokias in my day, and yes nokia is known for their battery life. but three hours on this amazing device. i'm impressed.
