Future video phone?
The N90 with the pivoting camera, seems to me, to have an unlimited potential as a video Phone.
I know what your thinking, why would I need to see the person I'm talking to. You don't but you can SHOW them things in real time. Think about a 911 operator able to give very specific instructions to some on a video phone, because they can see the injury someone is describing at an accident.
Well, you can come up with your own scenario for how useful it could be for you. I think this is a step right direction and keep looking for it.

It is a video phone, not just a video camera. The other person can talk and see you at the same time (provided they, too, have a video phone).
