Motorola V323 / V325 / V323i / V325i

My phone is about 1 year old, and now it has gotten even slower to the point that when I'm in a hurry, I get angry at it. I'm only using 22% of the memory, and that is mostly with games (games work fine). Is there anything else I can do to speed it up?

Is there or will there ever be any software updates. I have a family plan and have 5 phones. Recently I convinced all 5 of family members to purchase the 325i. Having had cell phones for a few years now i am finding that compared to others, the 325 is very user UN-friendly. 12- 16 steps just to set the alarm- if there is s schedule change on the calander it is impossible to just change the date with out deleting everything and re-entering.- many, many issues that I am stuck with now that I do not have with this phone which I had with others. can someone give me some hope?

After 2 yrs with our V265's we were due for new phones. We upgraded to the V325 yesterday.

Biggest issue - Side by side, I've got 5 bars on the V265 in the house and only 3 (sometimes 4) on the V325.

I had this issue with my 331T previously, I could not use it in the house at all. At that time DH had a V60 and he always had 2 bars more than me, often depending on where we were, there were times I had no service and had to use his phone.

Has anyone had a 265 and a 325 and can confirm it's just as good reception-wise? I know the reviews said good things about it but I didn't see any with the 235.

Secondly, has anyone been able to get the 3rd party plugins to work with iSync? I can't get either of my machines to see the 325.

One day i was trying to bypass my phone lock . I quickly learned that if you Hold the camera button down for 3 Seconds then press OK your phone will freeze. About 15 seconds later a message will pop up saying"UNABLE TO RECORD MOVIE." Or Hold the camera button down for 3 Seconds then press OK an wait 3 more seconds then press ok again an a menu titled NEW VIDEO will pop up giving the options. "Save","Send","Erase". I ones was able to vew the video screen. Instead of the camera icon there was a camcorder icon. when you take a pic it would show a timer "REC:00" - "REC:15" also just like the camera feather you could voom 3 times but in video it would freeze if zoomed all the way out

does this phone have the ability to play mp3's?

There have been several times when my phone has rang and, when I've picked it up using the actual handset and not the Bluetooth headset, I've been unable to hear the person on the other end. If the Bluetooth headset is on and detected, does it automatically override the phone and you *have* to use it, or is there a problem with my specific handset?

Can anyone review the V325i. Concerned about bad reviews for the V325.

I noticed that when we went over to daylight saving time, the times for all my future appointments were set ahead by one hour. This is obviously a glitch in the phone's software. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have just purchased the V325-i have been charging for 24 hours. My question is, when do i know when it is done charging? the manual says it will indicate "charge completed", but how long does it take for the initial charging of the phone and how will i know when it is totally done charging?

With the first V323 i had, i could send a picture from my phone, to my email. It was more convenient than sending to the online thing that US cellular had. But this is the 3rd phone i've had (for other reasons) and i get an error message when i try to send picture messages. When i try to take a picture i have stored on my phone and send it in a message i get this message " Cannot Send File. Send Restricted" how do i fix my phone so i can send my pictures to other phones?

My wife and I purchased two v325's from Costco. I use and really like VZ Navigator, my wife does not use it.

My first phone began "locking up" could not receive a call and when trying to make a call did not work, eventually giving a message "call failed"

So exchanged the 1st phone for a second. After a week, started having the same problem with phone locking up.

Exchanged for a 3rd v325 which I have been using and again it locks up 1-2 times a week. I am able to get it to work, but have to take the battery out and put back in, which is getting old.

In meantime, my wife has never had a problem with her original phone, but she does not use VZ Navigator.

Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?

Has anyone compared these phones as far as reception and call clarity? I have good luck with Motos in the past but my wife has a Samsung now that she has had good luck with.

I'm trying to make up my mind.Tried out the speakerphones of all three at the Verizon store.The 5300 seemed the loudest and clearest.Has that been your experience?I really want a phone with clear reception.

I have tried two kinds of Belkin headsets and people say it sounds bad. I prefer an in ear type that has a button to answer, end and activate voice dial. Anyone have any luck with a good Plantronics type?

Among some the other known problems with this phone, I now have a problem I haven't seen reported here. Even with my "Ring Style" set on high, the phone will vibrate when I receive a call. Sometimes I will get other audible tones like when I get a text message.

Any tips?

im having problems while charging my newly acquired v325....it seems to freeze sometimes when i plug the charger in ..or take the charger out..it is real weirrd...it could be at four bars...but when i plug it in ..it goes back down to 2 bars..and freezes..... anyone else having this problem....any help would be appreciated.....thanks

Does this phone have the standard motorola charging port or does it have the new usb port??? Thanks for any info
