Motorola V323 / V325 / V323i / V325i

Can anyone tell me if this phone beeps every few minuets to tell let you know you missed a call. I go to the VZW store and the kids working there look at me like I'm crazy when I ask. My Nokia and LG dont and it drives me nuts that I have to look at the screen to see I missed a call while I was out of my car. Before my two present phones every other phone I owned had this option.
My contracts up and if VZW can't give me a phone with reminder beep I'll have to find a carrier that has a phone with it.

Anybody ever figure out if you could transfer pics, mp3s for ringtones, games, etc. without having to use VWs ripoff get-it-now service? Like say via a USB cable?

I only care about not losing connections. V325 is tri mode with extending antenna (positive points). a932 is digital only with an internal antenna (potential negative connectivity points). Anyone have any thoughts on which is best where only connectivity is important?

I am unable to edit dates for existing calendar functions. I contacted Moto tech support and they gave me steps to take involving setting the alarm, after which I should be able to edit the calendar. I tried the steps and still couldn't edit the calendar. Does this function actually exist on this phone, or do I have a bad one?

Trying to decide which way to go; any advice between these two? Thanks!

This is the new software just released.
I just has it installed Sunday at Verizon.
It suppose to address the freeze, ringing
lights, and it has a battery saver on/off
I won't know if this is a fix for the "Freeze"
or not as it takes a few weeks to lock-up.

I am in the process of researching this phone for my 2-year upgrade. I was playing with the TXT feature today in the store, and found some trouble with the iTAP feature. I couldn't find a key (usually "0") that you push to change the word spelled if the phone chooses the one you don't want. For example, the words "good" and "home" have the same key strokes, and the phone naturally chooses to spell "good." Any way to choose between word if the phone chooses the wrong one without switching to the "ABC" mode?

Is there a way to put a picture to a name and have it show up when they call?

I have a new V325, and I noticed that when I use the volume button on the left side of the phone to turn up the volume of the ringer, the phone makes a horribly loud bleep sound every time I press it. It doesn't make this sound when I turn the ringer volume down, but it does make it when I turn the ringer volume up. How can I disable this sound?

(I like to turn the ringer off when I go to restaurants and movies, but I turn it back up again when I leave, and hearing that sound with every push of the volume button is very annoying. The only sound I want my phone to make is when someone calls me!)

Alright I installed P2k seem and enabled Bluetooth or USB transfers for my Motorola V325 now I downloaded Bitpim and i can read all my system files and etc and write files to the phone but can someone tell me in what directory are the ringtones so i can put new ringtones on the phone i couldnt find it

Is there anyway to change the ring tone I get for a text so it is not the same as the ring tone I get for a call? I have set certain rings for certain people and it just rings and texts the same tone.

Is there anyway to get the missed calls to stay on the screen. If I had not picked up my phone in a while with the Samsung a670 it told me i missed calls but not the v325. Thank you in advance

Just curious if there is any way to disable the front lights while charging, can get annoying at times.

I found in the menu the option to change the volume of the key sounds, but is there any way to turn them off altogether? Frustrating to hear "beep beep beep.." during every txt! Thanks!

Is it true you can make and receive calls w/ the clam shell closed?

I was wondering if there was any way to use the Multimedia center on Motorola Phone Tools, or if it is another thing like the vib/ring function that Verizon has scewed us out of. If anyone knows I'd like to know.

this phone sucks.. the menus are slow, but the worst thing is that dust gets caught between the outer display and the protective glass and you can't get it out... I've only had it for 3 weeks and its getting worse and worse... if you want a phone that looks like as$ then buy it. what a mistake.. and now the 15-day trial is over. i'm an idiot.
