Adding Text to T9 mode??
Ive done a search and I'm currently on hold with Samsung's level 2 tech support, and its been 28 minutes so far 👿 but I think the news maybe what I'm not liking. So far, it seems as there is no way to enter new text into the dictionary of the T9 "word" mode. Level 1 tech support was useless.
I can't put in words that I use alot such as the sh word, or beer, or names of people. If this is the way this phone is, its going back to Verizon Wireless in favor of an LG. The LG you simply entered the word into the text message in the ABC mode, then hit T9 and it would add it to its databank. T9 is very important to me.

Never mind, I got off tech support. They said that it is not in this phone version yet. Hopefully they will do a firmware upgrade with it. But right now, since the phone was just introduced, a new firmware will not be available quite yet. Now, I need to decide whether to keep this phone and hope it is upgrade it (Im stuck with it the next 22 months!) or go back and buy somethin else.
