OK, got the driver.. but how do you USE IT?!
So, I was able to find the driver that would let my PC "see" my phone when hooked up through the USB cable.
Now, how do I actually move stuff? I can't get BitPim to detect the phone. 😢

The Samsung SCH-a950 is not listed in Bitpim yet as being supported. Maybe in a future update of Bitpim it will be added, but for the time being the only way you can use Bitpim with it is by accessing things directly through the filesystem (which I don't reccommend unless you completely know what you are doing or you could really mess up your phone). Best thing to do is wait until it is supported.
In the meantime if you are trying to use it for ringtones, you can e-mail 30 second clips of MP3's to your phone as an attachment in an e-mail to your10digitnumber@vzwpix.com, then save the sound and then set as a ringtone.

How do you even able to open the file systems?
When I open BitPim, I go to Edit > Settings. Then it gives you the screen where you set which phone you're using, and the com port. What do I set this on?
I can't even get FileSystem to open, even if I was brave enough to get in there and play around. How do you access things through filesystem?
