Samsung SCH-A950
Possible to have MP3 Player AND good RF?
I ordered an A950 two weeks ago. When the phone arrived I was shocked at how poor the voice quality was (however I was impressed wih the camera and the MP3 player.)
I had a second A950 sent out and the voice quality was excellent. However it has the more recent software that eliminated the MP3 player and replaced it with the miserable WMA player that is now standard.
From reading the forums I gather that there is no way to reinstall the MP3 player on phone #2.
Is there any way to update phone #1 so that the RF is improved without losing the MP3 player?

If you're not in an EVDO area, there's a benefit to turning off EVDO: slightly longer battery life. Otherwise, it drains the battery on the phone. I don't know about RF though. That's been an issue with this phone from what I heard. More than likely, I'll be waiting for the Samsung SCH-a930, which supposedly will have the mp3 support, which was stripped from the a950 after the firmware upgrade. I however don't know how to a...

I haven't verified this claim yet however, I'm heading that way tomorrow and I plan on asking. I don't want to library separate formats of the same music.
