Looks like VX dropped this phone with the release of the Chocolate. It's no longer listed on the Verizonwireless.com site as an available phone...can anyone with VZ connections confirm this?

Scuba....sounds like you've got deeper problems than the 950. I think your views of cell phones may be a little over-inflated. Not matter the carrier, everyone will have dead spots. No matter the phone manufacturer, the phones will NOT be indestructable. There will be times, depending on where you travel, that any phone will drop a call. Good luck.
