How to upload pictures to your pc

Hey guy, I've been wanting to upload pictures on my phone to my pc for so long, but everytime I attach the USB from the phone to my pc, it says the software can't be found. It tells me to insert a disc and get the software, however, when I got the phone, it didn't come with a software disc. So I was wondering if there is any other way I can upload to my PC without the software or disc or if i can download the software from the internet.

Just copy pics to an SD RAM card and then put the card in your computer SD reader slot. You can also do the reverse for any pics, music you want on your phone.
