pop3 email??

We just got this phone in and i was interested in getting it, but I have just noticed that there is no email option on the phone, nor is it in the instruction book. Anybody know anything.

I remember reading that you have to use Cingular's WAP settings for pop3 connectivity.

I want to use this phone to access my Earthlink POP3 account. Are you saying that all outbound email has to go through Cingular SMTP servers or something?

i haven't used the email but instructions are to download mobile email from cingular site. then you supposed to be able to select your preferred email service and login. no monthly fee but i assume it would be the $0.03/kilobyte charge for download

There are no pop3/imap email capabilites included in this phone.

So the only purpose of the keyboard is for IM? I was set to buy this phone so I could use the keyboard to send/receive email easier...I guess I need to return to the "This phone sux" thread. I guess I'll keep waiting for the Nokia 9300...super brick.
