QWERTY?!?!
For all of you who have purchased this phone, does the QWERTY keyboard work beyond text messaging? (To DO List, Emails, Calendar?) And for those of you with cingular, how do you like the way that you can check your emails on it? is it convenient?
Voice dial via Bluetooth?
I already have a Moto MPx220 and while I mostly enjoy using the phone, I hate the fact that I can't voice dial via a Bluetooth headset connection. My car even has Bluetooth now, but all I can do with it answer a call, end a call, redial the last number, and talk once a call is in progress.
This Samsung phone also lists "speaker-independant voice recognition" for the voice dialing just like my Moto. Does anyone know if this new Samsung phone has the same limitation whereby it won't allow voice dialing via Bluetooth?
If the voice dial works via Bluetooth, it might be worth checkout out the phone just to get that and EDGE; two features I wish my Moto had.

nokia n92
hey a new phone with the same form factor. Sony ericsson will probably make their own version.
Platform/OS? Anyone?
Does anyone know what operating system this phone uses? I've never owned a samsung. Is it something I would've heard of (windows mobile, symbian, etc.) or is it a Samsung thing?
Help.

Hope this is better...
I hope this is better than Samsung's efforts with the P207. The P207 boasted a sexy look and cool features at an entry level price before it came out, and then when it was released, customers were cursed with lag, reboots, frozen menu screens, and mp3 ringtones with the volume of an ant in labor at a rock concert. Hopefully this device will do what Samsung boasts that it will do and not lie. Heck, I hope it can at least ring and vibrate AT THE SAME TIME.
Thank you for listening. I'll be here all week. Good night.
samsung copied the mpx 300 design...lol
mpx 300 > d307
anyways is there any other handset out there that has the same design? and wats with the color scheme, black keys on a chrome face plate?

Not all that bad
the phone is not bad. so what that it doesnt have a camera. doesnt need it. this phone is going with the trend of having a QWERTY keypad. also it is good for people that only text message or use it for business wise.

Samsung - Shameful D307
Am I the only one who thinks the Samsung D307 is a huge step backwards? Samsung is known for making sharp phones with visual appeal - the D307, in my opinion, is a disgrace to my eyes. I wouldn't own that phone for anything - ug.
😡 Disappointed !!!
