USB Cable Link
I plugged the USB cord into the phone and then into my computer... and it said it could not install the software, and to check to see if there's a CD or whatever, which there wasn't.
How do I access this? I don't have a card reader on my computer, so the transflash adapter is pretty useless for now... but also so is the USB cord. I'd like to know how it works! The woman at Sprint help didn't really seem to know what she was talking about.

People keep calling this a modem adapter in reviews... but can this be used to transfer video and pictures directly to my PC?

Not at this point. It can only be used as a modem for now. To get the drivers, go to Sprint's site, login to your account, and it should show the A940 as your phone. Click the phone details link. On the page that comes up, there should be a software download link. Click there and download Sprint's connection mamger software, which contains the driver.
Don't worry, if you only want the driver, there's an option to install just the driver.

For some reason, it can only be used a modem when connected to the computer, it won't let you drap media over to the phone, like with the Sanyo 5600/9000. I add music/media to my card using the adapter.
