battery life
😢 does anyone know about an extended battery, and how much longer it last cuz this 3 hours wont work for me!! and when r they gonna make a bb with a camera or at least a memory card slot!!!!

Battery life is pretty good. I am a power user both from text, emailm internet and voice. I was running for 24 hours and found the battery to be at 50%. Depeneing on your usuage I think you could get 1-3 days out of it... of course there is always the car charger and the USB cable. It charges when attached via the usb cable.

If I charge via the USB cable, is there the same overload protection you get from a certified charger? In other words, do you run the risk of burning out the battery charging from your laptop/PC with the USB cable?

not too sure about that... they usb cable is supplied from verizon. It looks like a standard cable...

Someone in howardforums responded that the circuitry to prevent overload is built into the BB, so it should be OK.
