Locking keypad?
For those of you who have already received your 7130, I'm curious if it is possible to lock the keypad. And if you can't, how sensitive is the keypad to accidental calls while the phone is in your pocket?

There's no way to set the keypad to "auto-lock" although you can do it from the menu and by holding down * key from the phone menu. I haven't had any problems w/ accid keypress in my pocket, although I'd be willing to pay a RIM software developer to program me an auto-keylock program 🙂

The BlackBerry has a lock feature that is activated under -Settings , Then Options- Then security, enable this and make a code, try to keep it simple and short 4 digits and you can have the phone lock after a period of time ie a min .

If you set a password under Options, Security, General Settings you can adjust the Security Timeout at which time the device locks itself and the keyboard.
You'll have to login every time you go to use the phone, of course but after a day or two of doing that you probably won't notice the extra hassle.
I'm not sure if you can set this with no password set. I've got mine configured the way I want it and am too lazy to go in and experiment. This info should be enough to get you pointed in the right direction, though.
An alternative to setting the password is to go to the main screen with all the icons, I believe BB calls this the home screen. On this screen you can press and hold * and it'll lock the keyboard.
Good luck.
