The blackberry 7130e was made for medium to light data use and heavier phone use. While the blackberry 8000 series models were made for lighter phone use and heavier data use. The 7130e has a higher quality screen resolution compared to the 8000 seried models too.

The 7130e was made for individuals and business people whi need a phone for emailing and data use while on the go. This phone does not have an external memory card or camera/video. Many subscribers of this phone work for the government where having these capabilities hinders the security....people can copy data and take picture/video of private material if this phone had these features.
