Unit Not Turning Off and Hard Reset Frequency

I have my unit programmed to automatically shut down daily at 10pm and restart at 6am. Occasionally, it doesn't shut down completely, the green LED light continues to flash, and the battery is partially drained. Verizon advised me to reprogram {*228} unit once/week and to do hard reset bi-weekly. Does anyone else have this problem? I think Verizon doesn't want to admit there is a problem with my unit. Thanks.

I would definitely contact Verizon and advise them that you would like to speak to their dat support group & advised them of the issue you are having. The *228 function should only have to be done once a month and doing a hard reset twice a week is way too much and should only be done as a last resort.
