i was wondering if the sony w600i or the unlocked verson sony w550i if you can swivel the phone and answer the call without touching a key to talk is it an active swivel?

It doesn't have an Active swivel but you don't have to open it to talk. It will let you answer by pressing the left soft key on the cover or if you are using the headset/headphones you can answer by using your voice by saying answer or busy. You can also dial w/out pushing a button if you activate the "Magic word/phrase" Option that allows you to record a phrase that you can say w/your headset instead of pushing a button to activate the Voice Dialing feature.
