I had the same problem on my W600. It kept turning off without warning. Try cleaning the battery connections and the battery pin connector pins on the phone. I noticed a film on both the battery connector and the pins on the phone. I used a #2 Pencil. Works great cleaning SIM chips as well!
As soon as I did this the problem didn't happen again. Not sure what caused the film on the connectors, but it seemed to fix the problem.
I'm sure there are other way of cleaning the battery connectors, but I didn't want to use anything that was a liquid. I don't want anyone saying I ruined my phone and it's not in warranty.
Let me know if this helps? It worked for me!!!
Take care!

I work for a telecommunications company and own a communications firm on the side - waiting this long and having reps is certainly something I would never do or like to see/hear of.

If the phone rings while the phone is in "sleep mod...
