Sony Ericsson W600i / W550i

i have the s710a and the rokr (well it's my girlfriends). she likes my phone but says its too big. likes the rokr but says it's getting old and boaring. i showed her the w600i and she thinks that is hot. but she also want's full html browser like my 710. i see it has wap as one of the formats but i don't have a clue what that other stuff is. does anyone know if this phone the w600i is capable of html format or something close?

Not very smart with this phone. Is there any legal music site where I can hook up my phone and download directly to phone or make a file on computer and then send file to computer for my w600? Please email: msolo7101@comcast.net

Cingular is apparently no longer including even demo versions of games on this phone. I've had mine about a week and purchased a full version of Asphalt GT for it. I thought this thing was supposed to display the game landscaped instead of portrait but it doesn't. The dedicated game buttons do not work either. Is there some setting that I'm missing here or is this a defective unit? I've also become quite aggravated with the phone freezing up when I'm going the the menu systems. It takes 3 to 5 seconds for it to un-freeze and catch up so that I can continue trudging through the menu. Anyone else having these issues?

would you reccomend this phone or something else? Im looking for a good camera phone, and thi sis suppoed to be 1.3 mp. so is the camera good or not? ne way, I want this phone, but would u reccomend something else? thanks for ne help

I am looking to get a W600i as soon as it's out. But I want to know about syncing it with Apple's iSync. I know it's not a supported device.

Or will I have to just copy each address to the phone via the address book?

When I connect my phone to my computer using the USB connection it asks "Phone Mode or File Manager" If I choose phone mode everything works fine. But when I am using the Disc2Phone and choose the file manager it says that my phone is not connected. When I choose the file manager mode my phone shuts down and then comes back on, but has a message about not disconnecting the phone until I have closed the computer program. Am I doing something wrong??? Help Please! 😢

Im wondering if anyone has seen a sport case - or any case for that matter designed for this phone. Im looking for something that will allow me to wear the phone on my arm like an MP3 player.

Does this phone pick up alot of background noise?

i know you can set mp3 sounds as ringers, can you also set the voicemail alert as an mp3 sound?

i just went to look at these today, but i still cant decide. the extra memory the s710a can hold doesn't matter since memroy duo sticks can only hold 128mb anyways and the w600i already has 256mb. the w600i screen isnt THAT much small to the s710a, and the w600i isnt that much smaller in siz as the s710a either.

really this comes down to which has a better camera and faster OS. anyone would like to give me some advice?

i noticed that when i put "w600i" on the jumpto the phone slot, i noticed that the title read "w600i/w550i"
-does that mean they are the same?
-do they share same face plates?

i was wondering if the sony w600i or the unlocked verson sony w550i if you can swivel the phone and answer the call without touching a key to talk is it an active swivel?

ppl, i want an opinion from you guys regarding Motorola Rokr and W600i, I'm looking for an MP3 phone, which can hold upto a 100 songs,, thats prettty much what i want from,,and it should be good in both factors (phone and MP3), i think both of these are really good options,,,but I'm not able to decide which one to pick, any suggestions???
