Why in the world....
Why does T-Mobile / Samsung REFUSE to make a bluetooth phone. I have gotten so used to my bluetooth that I don't want to live without it. I like Samsung products, but I T-mobile never has one that will work for me because they will not get one with bluetooth... Oh well... guess I get to stick with Motorola

Samsung does make bluetooth phones. Ever hear of the D500? The problem is, T-Mo is concentrating too much on the "Soccer Mom" and not caring about the more productive user. It's nice they want to be the budget carrier but they shouldnt ignore their the high end users completely. They could have at least carry a Nokia smartphone.

the D500 is one phone out of many.
if you use the basic phone finder here on phonescoop, you'll spend all day trying to find a Samsuck with BT.
this is not so much a carrier issue as a manufacturer technology preference.
t-mo's failure is continuing to select so many (6 of 13 as of 08/10) samsuck handsets to offer to their customers.
you would think that having more feature-rich handsets from other manufacturers would direct the end-users to those, but...

Exactly. That is exactly too T-Mo's problem. Too many Samsucks. You hit the nail on the head. What the hell happened to their relationship with Sony Ericsson?

It's true I also asked the Samsung rep why T-mobile wasn't coming out with bluetooth and all he said was in the 4th quarter they are...it will probably be the E720 o E730...I don't expect them to have the D500...
Also what did happen between Sony Ericsson and T-mobile??? Sony Ericsson is coming out with some great phones...

Samsung is not a supporter of Bluetooth. Nokia, Motorola, and Sony Ericsson.
Samsung or LG are not (at first) LG is getting in the van. Samsung has been trying but it seems like they prefer phones with Infrared instead.

The Samsung E640 is one hell of a phone with bluetooth. They do support light flip-phones.
