Phonebook entries - For those that already own the phone

Do you still have to have individual entries for each contacts' number type (mobile, work, home), or does the new software allow you to finally store multiple numbers under one contact name?

you can put one entry and have mulitple contacts for it. but there is an extra step in doing this. while in the phone book, select options then setup and view my primary and there you go its done.

Thanks but maybe I'm thick. All I get in options once in the phone book is Erase, Send, Send and call. What am I missing?
