When I checked the site it didn't mention an MP3 player being in the phone but I know Motorola incorporated one. Try the MP3 player, does it work? (VZ customers only) Thanks!

Motorola's web page for it says it has an MP3 player, so it sounds like VZN did nueter it.

I don't have the phone yet (I am ordering it today online) but I don't think Verizon would disable this. The E815 has an MP3 player which they did not disable. We would know if it has an MP3 if it is capable of playing a file with an .mp3. I don't know if this is the case yet. .mp3 files are very large. It will be interesting to see how this works on the RAZR. I hope we hear from someone who knows the answer, even though it will not be a deal breaker for me as I just use the sound for ringtones not for real music. The next version of the RAZR will have itunes built in, but who knows when V...

If yah noticed, one of the accessories on the vzw.com website is a pair of "stereo headsets"..... I would assume it's because the phone is equipped with mp3 capabilities.... but then again, I'm not sure.

I noticed that, but when I called CS the lady I spoke to said the phone didn't have an MP3 player. It doesn't make sense to sell stereo headsets and no MP3 player. However, those headsets can be used to answer and end phone calls. Oh I don't know. ☹️

The reasoning behind disabling the MP3 player is that it doesn't have expandable memory. What does the phone offer again? 40MB?

The stereo headset would be primarily paired up with the Razr for VCast.
