Question About Locked Pictures?

Got the phone, very happy Obex is there etc. Love the phone so far, but I would love to delete the preloaded photos from the phone.

I assume doing this would free up space for more pictures etc? Of course they are photos are locked and it seems like they do not want you to delete them. Is there something that i'm missing about unlocking these to delete them or is there a work around for it? This is my first time with the verizon UI so i might just be missing something.

must not be just verizon's ui ... i have the phone thru alltel, and "delete" ain't an option when i select those pre-loaded things either. will eagerly watch this space for insight ...

Hi,
this thread is from last year. Has anyone been successful in removing the stock photos that came loaded on the v3? I too would like to free up the space and have more of my own pictures that I actually like!!

From what I've seen (NOTE: READ, have not DONE) you should be able to hack the phone and remove the stock photos and ringtones. Try howardsforum.com. But, as it says, you can easily brick the phone...
