Razr Voice Dialing
When adding a contact in the list and only putting one number in under the "Mobile 1" area, no other numbers in "Home" etc., and you try to use voice dialing it keeps asking "which number, Mobile or Mobile 1." In the instruction book it says that if there is only one number listed for a contact you should only have to say there name, not name and Mobile 1, etc. Anyone else having this issue or do I have a bad phone?
PS There is no "Mobile" area to put a number in, just "Mobile 1 and Mobile 2."

I have the exact same problem. This must be a software issue.

how are you saying it when your press the button? I just tried it and mines worked fine with a contact with one number, and I doubt cause I have the alltel version that it would make a difference.

I'm just saying "Call Bob Smith", after the prompt. I just called Verizon tech and they thought that the software asked which number under one of the Mobile 1 or Mobile 2 catagories because there was more than one with the same word in it and the software couldn't differentiate. I also called Motorola and didn't get much help. They said the phone was new and they couldn't find anything on it.(not helpful at all) But if there are more out there who are having the same issue, then I guess that's just the way the phone is. Thanks for the replies.

Of course it would make a different, they have different software.

ccanady,
is the number in the mobile section or in home or work?
Works fine if I have a single number in home or work but not in Mobile...then asks for clarification.

its a mobile... But Mary is saying since I have the Alltel version and you guys have the Verizon version that might be the case why my phone works and yours does not...sorry I could not help.
