My employer offers a discounted web site for us to order verizon wireless cell phones on-line. On this special extranet site accessible to employees of my company only, the razr costs $159.99 with a 2 year agreement. I am also eligible for the new every two $100 credit. I called verizon costumer service to see if I could use my $100 discount with my employee discount to purchase the razr for $59.99 and the rep said no, that I could only use one or the other. You can't get the NE2 credit through your employer, here's why;

Your company has a business account or some arrangement w/ VZW that puts you in a diff set of rules. The phone is discounted for volume for your company and the price you see is the price you get (the discount you're getting on that razr is better then VZW employees get (as of tonight).

Now the best bet is to renew a 2 year contract w/ vzw and get the 2 year promo price ($199) and then apply your NE2 credit, and the phone is $99. Cheapest way to do it. There's a rebate involved, takes about 2 weeks to get $100 of it back.
