RAZR V3c reliability???

This phone is such an enigma! When it works, it's delightful, but that is only 2/3 of the time. Best-sounding speakerphone I've heard - except when the people I call hear a disruptive echo of their own voices. Several times, calls have resulted in every 2nd or 3rd word cutting out (both ends of the conversation). Verizon heard this when I called in on *611 twice, so they have offered to replace it a thrid time. Other odditites: the "charging complete" screen stays lit until the phone is turned on again - some of the time; sometimes the voice recognition gets it all wrong (most of the time it is terrific - no difference in ambient noise). Personally, I wouldn't use the RAZR, for reasons other than mentioned above..

However, if you truely want to keep the phone, Motorola/VZW should be released a software update for the phone, hopefully, sometime soon..

Just like any new phone, they have their quirks.
Maybe you'll have better luck when the bugs are killed..

Thanks for the info. My son and I (We bought the RAZRs on a buy one-get one) gave up and returned them both. The speakerphones only worked half of the time and we were getting numerous "I can't hear you clearly" connections. We're back to the LG 4650 (for me) and LG 6100 - both of which work pretty well but don't have the aesthetics of the RAZRs.
