04 software and MPT tools problems

Just upgraged to the new software and I can't load ringtones using MPT. I have tried changing the phones which used to work but that won't work either. Did VZW disable this in the razr just to make money? Please help

Yes, the new software continues to disable the multimedia function of MPT. It started with software version .03. If you were able to use MPt for ringtones before, it meant your phone had version .02 which allowed it.

When upgrading from 3 to 4 you need to do seem edits to allow MPT. Go to Howard forums,verizon,motorola. It tells you how to do it
