Motorola RAZR V3c

one last time razr v3c pros. 1. I've gotten all the updates for mobile phone tools. I can't transfer mp3's or pics unless I go thru messenging. tried changing the modem but there seems to be a step missing. 2. any cracks yet for the phone?

Has anyone noticed all the specs state a capacity of 1000 entries, however I cannot access anything past 500. Yet, VZW has preloaded entries in spots 998,999, and 1000!

What gives? Can anyone else enter contacts past #500?

I tried to plug a USB cable into my razr and than my computer. The cable fits fine but when I look for the phone icon on the desktop and dosn't show up. Okay so I tried looking through other files NOTHING. I have a Apple iBook. Is it the computer or the phone? Thanks

anyone know if verizon is going to release an all black razr in the future like those offered by cingular and tmobile?

OK so I purchased a Razr V3c today from my local Verizon Wireless Store. I love it so far except for two annoying issues. One there is definately a lag on the home screen menu when u press to go into contacts, messages,etc. There doesn't seem to be any lag though once you get into the submenus. There is also about a 4-5 second lag when you press the camera/video button on the keypad. THe other main issue is my clock froze on 7:49 pm and it annoyed me so much that I turned my phone off and when I turned it back on it was back to the correct, present time. Hasn't froze since then but we will see. I know someone else on here posted that they have had similiar issues so far. Can I take the phone back to get it flashed to correct these issues? If...

why is there a 10 second delay wen takin pictures? its really annoyin nd is there any way to speed up the main menu? tha too is really slow. nd can someone explain how to use iTAP and compare it to t9? thanx

Hey has anyone seen the Q? Its the razr like smartphone. If so, do you have any idea when it will be released? It says first quarter of 2006, so it should be soon. But I was just wondering if someone knew a date.

I have been following the posts and tho I planned to get a Razr, have not. Too many complaints.

Today, I noticed my super had a Razr. He said he switched from Verizon to Cingular (we are in NYC) and has much better connections/reception. His assertion surprised me. How do the providers compare in NYC re dead spots and dropped calls. Also, I do to Maine (Rockland area) and Mass often, so same question for these other locales. I would be cancelling a contract, hence speding money for the change.

Are there any feature differences on the V3c that Horizon sells versus the V3c that Alltel sells?

Specifically, does allow remapping apps on the
Home buttons (like Cingular's V3), and any diff on the phone book?

Does anyone know what the current software version is for the Razr V3c.

I have had this phone since day one and had to return it finally because I couldn't deal with it any more. I thought it would be high quality considering the price, but it feels and looks so cheap, key pad is loose, buttons don't register, terrible echoing and buzzing, bluetooth sounds horrible. I even exchanged for a new one assuming something was wrong with the one I got, but no-same problems. What's going on? I thought this was supposed to be so wonderful?

On Pages 62&63 of the manual it says you can show or hide menu icons (which actually works); and them says you can CHANGE menu features...but if you follow the steps: menu, settings&tools, display, homescreen, home keys, the only two options are to show or hide the icons, or to change the down arrow's function...why can't we change the function of all the other arrows???

Well I finally broke down and bought the razor after verizon released the pink one last week...I've been using it for about an hour and I'm already having problems...seems like a lot of features under Display don't work...such as the screensaver and the display themes...it would be nice to get rid of the ugly red default theme...but it doesn't work...I select tropical, nothing...I select business, nothing...and it's not that I think a screensaver is soooo important, but if these are features that don't work on just my phone then I would try a new phone...or if they're features that are crippled on all razors, well then this phone is lacking already...so what's the scoop?

I don't understand why this phone only allows 12 characters for the Banner...when you go into the Banner setup, 3 lines are displayed...I thought maybe it was 12 characters per line, but I can't get to the second line to enter anything...it just boggles my mind that my old, smaller moto could hold a bigger banner...why such a big screen...and speaking of the big screen, I'm new to this phone...I haven't downloaded anything yet or taken video...wondering if while you are viewing video if the 4 bars (red/gray top and bottom) stay during the viewing...it just seems sad that this huge screen would not be useful in viewing video.

hi i jst got the razr after having the lg vx8100. On the 8100 i created my own mp3 ringotnes from the bitpim and transferred them to the phone using bitpim, iwas wondering if the razr could be used on the current bitpim or is there a new updated version that supports it. thx

my wife bought me a razor, i dont have the box and the book doesnt tell me much. I wsa just wondering if she got an old left over early version of the phone because everyone i know has the ability to capture video and I dont, the only thing under media is the ability to watch videos and it doesnt really do any good because i can take videos. Is this a software issue, a phone issue or a carrier issue and did she get ripped off? i think she paid like 150 for it but im not sure. its through cingular thanks for any info you can give me

is there a free program that will allow me to create ringtones to send to my phone- preferrably something for a pocket pc but desktop software will do on also because i havve a bluetooth dongle for my pc thanks!@

I am going to my local verizon store today to get the firmare update. I called them and they said the pink Razr has a .03 version while the grey has .02 and I am going to get it flashed. Just wanted to let you guys know!!

Why isn't there anyway to back out of Menu options?...I've only had the phone a few hours and I'm trying to figure out all the basics...to back out of certain menu screens, you have to hit the clr or end buttons which brings you back to the home screen...not so convenient it seems...???
