Nokia 6265i
One Caveat: No Speakerphone
But otherwise, pretty solid phone. I know alot of you swear by the speaker, so that's most likely a deal breaker for most.
The phone seems to be one step above the 6236i only because it lacks Bluetooth and the 6265 has it. 😲 Verizon reps tell me they are getting three new Nokias, the 6256, 6236...and? I doubt this is the third b/c it says 4thQ 05'/ 1stQ 06' (which really means beginning of 2ndQ 06'.) I'm thinking the third Nokia will be a full text phone for all of you text junkies.

WRONG, The manual for this model in the FCC documentation shows the phone has a speakerphone option.

From the Nokia rep I've talked to, it looks like VZW's third Nokia will just be a simple handset, the 2128i. They'll have one for postpay and prepay.

i bloody hate people using speaker phones in public. it's very loud and intrusive. also, not having speaking phone functions shouldn't be THE factor to judge a mobile phone. that's simmply stupid.

Then what does "loud speaker" mean? According to the manual in the FCC documentation it can be activated during a call. I interpret this as a speaker phone. Anyone disagree?
Also I'm really anticipating this phone. Would like to see it come out for Alltel. Alltel has two phones with Java and no Brew so I would think it could be possible they get it.

Speakerphone...Loud speaker, I don't know--I don't use either of them. Alltell I heard isn't bad, one of my buddies has it with his fiance'. I'd love to have this phone, but I hate the thought of switching services just because I'm tired of waiting for the phones to get to Verizon.

IMPORTANT QUESTION: If Verizon carries this phone, will it FULLY ENABLE THE BLUETOOTH FEATURE (OBJECT PUSH) so that one can transfer photo file...
