Nokia 6061
Nokia 6102 RF strength and volume control
I currently have the nokia 6102 which I'd like to replace for this phone (mostly due to looks).
Can anyone speak to the signal strength on this phone? I've heard bad things about the reception on the 6102, but I've had no problems as of yet (it it as good as the SE z520a I traded in for it), so I'm just curious if this one is comparable or any better.
Also, does anyone know where the volume controls on this phone are? I can't see them in the photos and it's not addressed in the user's manual I downloaded from the Nokia site. I think that'd be rather odd for a phone not to ...

While a call is in progress, use the 4-way navigation key to control volume -- left to decrease and right to increase.
FYI: I had to call Cingular customer service to figure this one out, as it was not on the Nokia site or in the handbook (online or paper). And, because you can only get this phone through the online promotion in our area, my local cingular store staff were stumped.

Hope this helps you out.
As far as reception goes, this phone was given to me from my Call Center and honestly the few times I've used it, the coverage has been good. But then again, I primarly use my cell phone in my home and I have a cell site about a block away. But I still think the Nokia 6102 is a better phone, the only thing it needs is Bluetooth and a larger memory bank for storage of videos, mp3's etc. But If your wanting something extremely basic and plain, the 6061 will work just fine!
