Nokia 2125i / 2126i / 2128i
anybody do PC sync with this phone?
I have basic needs where I'd like to store a decent number of contacts, to-do's and calendar items, but don't need (or maybe can't even use) wireless sync capabilities, and I definitely don't want a camera.

So far I haven't been able to PC sync with this phone.
Nokias' PC Suite ver 6.6 does not support the phone, I tried.
Nokia's response was to keep checking for a update.

If you wade back and forth through Nokia's website, you will eventually find a table that shows the 2126i, and the Nokia driver and PC Suite version (6.7) that are supposed to work. However, I have had no luck getting the phone to connect with my PC. I bought a generic CA-42 cable from Colordrives on Ebay, and suspect that the cheap cable may be a problem. However, I was able to get the computer to recognize once that the phone was a 2126i, but it told me that I had the wrong version of PC Suite (I had been installing versions 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, and 6.7 back and forth). I was using the nokia suite but have now switched to MobiMB. I have the 2125i from metropcs. Originally they had disabled copying java applications to the phone but I figured out how to re-enable this feature.
Make sure you download the nokia pc suite from the 212Xi support page becuase there are many different versions.
