HTC 8125 / 8100 / MDA (USA) / K-JAM / P4300 (Wizard)

I was wondering if this phones features will function fully with a t-mo prepaid sim card.

How much internet acsess does this phone have? Can you acsess all aspects of the internet when you use the sync cable to conect to your computer, or only portions of the internet?

im board with my mda now i had it for like 10 months. I need some new programs, all i have is the one that came with the computer. Does anyone have any programs for this phone ???

I was using the 8125, in warned me of a low battery, I continued and it shut itself down. Now after charging it for several hours with the little red light at the top phone illuminated, it will not turn on. Any ideas anyone?

I am wondering if it's the battery or phone related.

i really wanted the sidekick 3. However, I do not want to pay an extra monthly fee for internet. Is it true that you can just connection to a wireless network on the MDA, such as my own, or when im out on the town, the city's network for free? I will be using T-MObile?

Will the MDA be severely limitied if i will not be purchasing the T-MO internet plan??

where can i download the 8125 software that came with the phone if i lost mine?
i trid using the disc from the 2125 but that didnt work and i cant find it on htc's website. all i need to do is transfer videos, music, and pics to and from my device.

Can anyone tell me how picture messages will bill if using a PDA and having unlimited messaging. I know that with Verizon you will still be charged kb usage on top of you messaging plan, unless you get a data package. I am wanting to know if I get a PDA with TMobile are they going to force me to pay the data package? Thank you in advance.

can this device be usb/ethernet connected to becom apat of the ones wired network. there is a cable to do it and there is software called telnet. but will it sync with this device and work?

Set the http port to 8080
and get free internet as long as you had T-Zones. Now it seems it will not work any more.

This is the second 8125 I have had and it has the same problems as the first one. I will enter an appointment on the calendar and then later view it and the time is changed to an hour earlier. So, then I go into edit this calendar entry and the time is just as i had entered it in the edit screen but nowhere else. Also after doing a hard reset my reminder alarms work for about 5-7 days and then they become selective and work only sometimes. When the alarm doesn't sound neither does a reminder screen come up. What is wrong with this phone??? I don't want to keep doing a hard reset. Also, my time settings are correct in the clock and my alarms and notifications are turned on. 😢

i've been told you can put applictions on an 8125 (like more windows programs) but i need to know if it's possible to put other programs on it (like one that will record your speech as text).

Will Verizon wireless carry this phone anytime soon?

I tried playing "Quake for PPC" but couldn't get it to work. Figured it's for different type processor.

I'm kinda looking for one with decent graphics. Quake would have sufficed, but alas, no go. I download Nester and will be fiddling with that soon. Next stop, overclocking! 😈

While the processor inside the MDA is slower then the Q, the UT 6700 and the I830, I am enjoying this PDA more then those three. While the UT starcom 6700 is strangely similar to the MDA as far as OS, Size and keyboard goes, I prefer the MDA due to physical functionality (layout/location...
