The Scoop on free ringtones (take a look)
I had my ringtones installing in 2 hours and now I can put a new one on in less than 3 minutes (this includes editing my mp3 file to a 15-20 second clip and converting it to m4a)
I will try to check back here regularly if anyone needs any help.

It's quite awesome, I just installed a few ringtones last night, It was really time consuming and a few parts were a little sketchy (as in they didn't work the first time)
But don't give up hope. THIS IS THE WAY TO PUT FREE RINGTONES ON YOUR PHONE. IT REQUIRES NO (That's right NO) INTERNET. 😁
The program seems a little rough around the edges unfortunately. At least there are alternate ways to get the code.
Hope this helps. This is by far the hardest step.
try this, grab a program called audacity, it's a free editing sound editing program. Then open up your mp3 you want to edit. Now find a spot that you want to capture, like 15-20 seconds of ringtone (you only need that much cause you phone will never constantly ring for a whole song)
Once you find the beginning of the section you want (I usually do that chorus) stop the player.
now click and drag the line where you stopped all the way back to the beginning and hit the delete key this will create the starting of your ringtone.
Now go 15-20 seconds ahead from the new beginning of the track and click and drag everything from the line to the very end of the track....
