A Repeated Subject/ Help downloading from my pc to phone
Ok I have read the posts about this subject and nothing has worked. My problem is I have put all my cd music into my laptop thru windows media player, but I am not sure if those files will be converted into a file the phone can recognize. I have formated my 512mb card to Music folder and Media folder and nothing has worked when I have it as music and i enter in the media player on my phone it shows and arrow icon but nothing happens when I select the file. what am I doing wrong đ¤ Or is there something else i need to get to download my music. I have a Image mate 5 in 1 reader and I am trying to use windows media player to load files to my trans flash

You need to make sure you use a program that will convert the music selections to MP3. Windows media player does not do the conversion, unless you buy a MP3 pack for it. Your best bet is to find a program that has the correct conversion format. Try Roxio or Nero, but there are many more programs. Then just put in the music folder or media folder depending on what player you want to use. Thats it....peace.

You can also use Itunes to convert to AAC. This is a good free conversion tool also. đ

Yea that itunes idea works better imo, just convert them to 64kbps to get more on there.

but here it is again,
1. buy memory card reader that fits SD.
2. put microSD into transflash adapter.
3. put transflash adapter into card reader
4. place mp3 or aac files in media folder.
5. put memory card back into phone.
6. menu - media player - memory card
notes:
must be AAC or mp3.
must be in media folder.
PS.
your USB cable is only for phone as modem. throw it away.

Just got the phone and have been able to transfer media onto my transflash. My question is: Is there a way to use my own MP3s (from the memory card)as ring tones?
I can edit the MP3 and encode it, but how can I get the phone to choose ringers from my media card?

Hello. Thank you. i have done everything properly and the music is on the card but when i put my card back into my phone it doesn't acknowledge the file. I don't know what to do now. I'm very confused. The people from bell told us it was as easy as putting music on to a normal mp3. I just wish it was. I would very much appreciate anything anyone could do to help me with this. OK, I just got this phone and i have no idea how to put on my music without buying it. Im looking at all your ideas, but do i use the USB or the little adapter, and where does the adapter go if i were to use that? Im downloading Roxio now, and im going to try that.
