Help with SD card

I got a card adapter and slid the sd card in, and connected it to my USB port on my computer, and I went to my computer and opened up the removable disk f and it shows an icon with a music player thing, but when i went to open it so I could add a new folder it wouldnt open, so therefore I can't drag my music files onto it...any help please?

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but in order to add music to your SD card you need to make (or open) a folder called "media". Drag your mp3's into that folder and you'll be able to access them in the music player on your phone.
